David Oxman is a physician, writer, and healthcare activist.

As a critical care physcian he takes pride in caring for critically ill patients and guiding their families through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. He has also been a leader in improving the quality and safety of patient care across hospital systems.

In his writing, Dave has brought attention to issues such as gun violence, the opioid epidemic, medical misinformation, and our outdated health insurance system. He spoke out early and forcefully against RFK Jr’s appointment to head the Department of Health and Human Services and Trump’s cuts to science funding and Medicaid.
